My check engine light stays on because of a bad exhaust valve servo. I have a 09 xb12r and have removed the stock exhaust so i do not need exhaust valve servo. I remember hearing about a plug connector that would emulate having the servo and stop the check engine light from coming on. If anyone knows where to get one or explain what I need to make one that would be great. I am tired of seeing the light always on. Thanks

The proper fix is to install a Race ECM for your exhaust, which fixes the check engine light, in addition to giving proper fuel and spark mapping, and other overall drivability improvements

Oh sweet! the manufacturer is selling the race ECUs directly now?

How do you suppose they are compared to the EBR ones that we aren't able to get?

Interesting company, appears they only support Buell, '08 and later.

Not true, they just don't have the DDFI1/2 ECMs available for purchase yet, they will have them soon.

They are identical other than the label, they are the original supplier of the OEM Buell and EBR ECMs, both stock and Race. I'm running the tunable one on my 1190SX, it is fantastic.

I'm guessing this company bought the rights to the ECM from H/D?

I'm not sure if they needed to buy any rights from Harley, but they started selling the ECMs publicly about a month ago as EBR was in receivership.

ECM is a good start.

Sure would be nice if we could get other OEM spec parts* from other than H/D.

I'm pretty sure these guys have been making the OEM brains at least since the XB days.
I don't know if they made the OEM tuber brains though.

So this would lead me to believe that Buell/hd bought off the shelf ECMs from IDS.
And, IDS retained all "rights" to the design and construction.

Either way good on them!

Anyone have an idea which would be the exhaust that most likely has same performance as the one I linked. I would like to purchase a ecu but not sure which one.
