I posted this over at Knowledge Vault but haven't had any luck. Not sure if it will help but here it is again... I have recently purchased CR forks and a Hyperpro Ss shock to lower my Uly. The shock just arrived and it is too long. I am guessing they used the 2010 length even though I definitely ordered a 2008. I have searched the site and found 13.625 inches mentioned in a few places. I would however like an official source for the 2008 length to give them. Can anyone point me to a link or take a photo/scan from a manual that has it black and white. Another alternative would be a photo of one being measured. On or off the bike to back up the 13.625 inches. (If the tape had cm that would be good as they are a European company). Actually, a photo of the older and newer shocks side by side would work too. Thanks for any help |

Thanks for your help Mees, Hyperpro are going to shorten the shock for me and thats the length I will go with. 13.625 inches works out as 346mm which is 49.5mm less than the 395.5mm quoted length on the Hyperpro box. Thats pretty close to the distance between the two mounting points on the frame so the numbers all make sense. I haven't been able to find an official source but am confident enough to have the shock rebuilt to that size.
