I had to rebuild my engine due to a suicidal piston. While I was in there, I swapped in a 1250 kit, Siemens Deka 60lb/hr injectors (to support future mods), Micron exhaust, K&N filter and a LC-2 WBO2 w/afr gauge. It starts and idles but its way rich. The gauge says anywhere from 7.8 to 10.8. I recalibrated the O2 sensor but I'm still getting the same results. I followed directions from another board to setup the analog out from the LC-1 for 14-1 then 14.7 - 1. No change. Can someone offer some steps I can try? Thank you. |

How are the new injectors compared to the oldies? Perhaps too much of a good thing? I would try running the stockers before I'd take any other drastic measures. |

I considered that... Man... I really don't want to tear back into that snake nest if I don't have to... I get depressed just thinking about it. I didn't mention, my old injectors are xb9. I swapped the 2003 engine for a 2006 xb12 as well as the 12 throttle body. (Message edited by shadow-racerx1 on July 08, 2015) |

Oh, that makes it harder. I would say you need to pull the fuel pump and put in a lower pressure regulator, quite the pain in the backside. |

I think I'm on the right track... my gauge is set to Lambda... I will switch it to AFR. The new injectors require less pulse width to deliver the same amount of fuel as the stockers. I've started datalog/tuning and things have improved greatly. Thanx for your help. |
