I need some help with some dino on my 09 uly and possible tuning work. Anyone close to Tacoma can offer some assistance in getting my bike back on the road? here the issue: when starting the bike up there is no code/faults present. The Yellow V-twin lights is off. I can rid the bike sometimes for 10 to 45 minutes and then V-Twin light will come on and go off while riding. I've tried jumping the pins 1 and 2 on the port to try and display the codes. But I can not get the bike to display and codes. I did replaced the plugs and the old ones were black, dry and fouled. I've look to see if I could find any crack or broken wires and can not find anything. I did call Harley and they can get me in to look at my bike in the middle of July. The dino work is $115 to HOPEFULLY tell me what's wrong with my bike then charge me to complete the work from there. Id rather put the money to BEER and parts then Harley's pockets | ||

Sounds like the ecm is cracked or at least stressed. Try this; with the engine running and the seat off, press down on the wiring connectors where they plug in to the ecm. See if you can re create the issue doing this. If so, the seat is doing what your fingers are doing. If this turns up to be the problem, unbolt the ecm and stuff in down lower. Re install the spacer block. It should get you where you are going but plan on a better permanent mount for the ecm. I am 200 miles south of you. | ||
