Hey all! I need to sell my XB9R as I'm leaving the UK but I'm not sure what it's worth. Its just over 2 years old and was an ex-demo from a Harley dealership. I paid £5000 with a full XB race kit so what would it be worth now? It's in perfect condition and still has 8 months of warranty left along with a new set of Pirelli Diablos and a brand new drive belt. It's also got a full service history and just had the last one done a week ago. The price I have in mind and I'd like to get would be £4500. Is that too much or too little? If anyone could help me out here, I'd appreciate your helps loads! Many thanks! P.S. Pics of the bike - http://www.nrennie.co.uk/photos/bike/ |

Nick, You probably have already, but take a peak at biketrader.co.uk - 4500 pounds looks in the ballpark man for your 02 XB9R. You photos made me miss England like crazy man - I lived in Suffolk for 12 years. I just moved to San Antonio (Texas not Ibiza) last summer and am having quite an extraordinary amount of culture shock. It is freaking impossible to acquire reasonably priced chocolate covered hobnobs in the states! Good luck on your move man. Johnny B |

Cheers Johnny! The photos were taken in the Berkshire area. Loads of excellent roads around there! I have to admit, our summer was a bit crap hence me giving up here. I'll work away for 12 months and then make up my mind if i want to stay. Nick |

UK prices are all over the place at the moment for the XB9R. This is because of the batch of very cheap R's that the dealers have been selling new at £4995 recently. Now that these have run out the used prices might start to stabilise a bit more, but I think you may struggle to get £4500 for it. Good luck though |
