Hey BadS1 well Its like this.. I have that on my xb12r now and might stick that on hers later as well.. BUT my old lady is (hard of hearing)Deaf sort of speaking as she likes to hear and of course feel the vibes... BUT for now I might get that techlusion box for mine later... and George there told me not to use the race ecm with his product.. So I`ll keep what I got on mine for now... but want or the wife wants me to throw some more Sound on hers its tooo quiet for her don``t blame her there and just the exhaust for now so thats the reason for my ? I think I got this all tangle up hope ya can make sense of it.. :-)But in doing just the can don`t want to LEan it out... will it cause a LEAN condition?? |

Hogs, Ran the Drummer for a time on my 12 with the stock ECM. Had no problems but did not pull a dyno run or check the AF ratio. However, Fullpower runs a Drummer and stock ECM and has done so for some time without any difficulty. Dan |

I'd move to the race filter as well. Drill holes in the airbox too. Lots of them or large ones, your choice. Yank the snorkel (NOT THE VELOCITY STACK). |

Thanks for the info there Dscak I must touch base with Fullpower on this then... M1combat I `m pretty sure Bud if I did that it Sure wd. run LEAN...(without installing the race ecm along with that) too much air not enough fuel.. |

The stock ECM will adjust itself to keep the right A/F mixture (keep in mind I didn't say the "proper" A/F mixture). It may go a little lean here and there, but many people run the stock ECM w/ a filter and pipe and from what I've heard none have grenaded yet. That could change tomorrow of course... Keep in mind that with a stock ECM and a slipon you will need to get creative to remove the actuator motor from the equation. You can either leave the motor and cables and just let them dangle, or remove the cables. Someone a while back also designed a bit of circuitry to fool the ECM into thinking the actuator motor is still there so it doesn't throw a code at you. |

hogs: very glad your wife is digging the XB. i have been running the drummer on my XB12 with stock ecm for 9400 miles. finally pulled the spark plugs, they looked fine. it is lean like any efi bike, but runs fine on 87 octane, no pinging or problems. the drummer has a real nice sound, a low deep rumble. you will like it. good luck, dean |
