Hey guys Shred needs some thoughts and prayers if you're a prayin' man. Apparently he hit some gravel going around a sharp corner, he recovered but recovered at the double yellow. As unluck would have it a car was coming around the corner from the other way on the double yellow. Instead of hitting the car head on he tried to take it in front of the car into the ditch and didn't make it. The car hit him and got him pretty good, he's ok as far as being alive. dislocated shoulder, broken femer & ankle. They are taking him into surgery right now Please say some prayers. Michael is a tough guy, he's broken all these bones before and he'll be fine. but he does need some prayers | ||

Thanks guys. He has called a couple times and is in pretty good spirits. I can tell from our conversations he didn't bump his head so that's a good thing, it's all just broken bones. I don't think his ankle is broken just his femer and a finger on his right hand. THe Dr.'s said that he is a 'very polite young man, he hasn't said one cus word.' I guess they are used to people cusing profusely when the pop dislocated shoulders back in. Michael is tough, when he was ummm.. 19 he free fell 72 feet off of raven's cliff in NC while climbing. It took them 3 hours to get to him and he had 14 broken bones and didn't go into shock. He'll be ok, someone upstairs wants him alive pretty bad. | ||

Glitch... I was thinking the same thing, but it's not worth it. Let's do what we can now and not worry about the should of, would of, could of, ought of's! Get him home safely! And let me know what I can do to help in any way. | ||

Just talked to Pete. He assures me all is as good as it can be. I'm relieved to hear Mike is mainly complaining on how bad this sucks and not screaming in pain. He was in full leathers. Wear your gear! | ||
