I have an xb9 and am curious if anyone has used brake pads for a different bike on their buell. The reason i ask is, my local harley shops have brake pads for most harley models but not for buell's...thanks |

The brake pads in the ZTL caliper are a unique design for Buells, no other bike uses the same pads. American Sport Bike has a good selection of pads available if you don't want to use OEM pads http://americansportbike.com/newdir/Item/9059 |

I didn't specify...stock rear pads. I've found them for $10 on eBay and $30 from a shop but I would like to know if a certain year sportster, dyna etc..would fit in the stock xb9 caliper |

Ask the H/D parts guy to look up the part number. He can tell right away if it's a H/D part or a Buell part. Or, common or exclusive. That said, I bought a set of Kevlar (front) pads from D2Moto (ebay.) As far as fitment, they were identical to the Lyndall Gold pads that they replaced. Braking characteristics are different, but that I expected (they work fine for me.) |
