Hi guys, Fell in love with a XB12R which is offered by the internet. I really do like the look of the bike, although I have my doubt about the fact if my 6'4" won't look rediculous on this bike and make it look like a mini motor (buell is not known for its size....). Are there any tall riders who have or had a XB12R who could share their experiences with this. By the way, My weight is just 75kg, so I don't look like a giant. |

How long is your inseam? Leg length is probably the most important part. |

I'm 6'4" and ride a XB12R, the only thing I did was put in the 1" lowered pegs from a Lightning. I find the 12R is a MUCH more comfortable bike than my son's '05 Honda CBR1000RR. Having said all of this, if I am riding for hours at a time, I take my Harley Ultra... |

I'm 6'2" and the XB9R/Xb12R was very cramped for me. The S is better but still a small bike. When we had a 6'+ rac rider on our race bike I removed the stock seat/tail and fitted a GSXR Suzuki seat that gave more room to tuck behind the screen. However even that wouldn't allow 6'4" to get tucked in! Go for the Ulysses model if you want an XB |

Ulysses or XB12SS(Long), or XB12STT if you can find one. (Message edited by blackm2 on July 25, 2014) |
