I've another newbie question about an XB9S. An item is listed on eBay claiming to reduce clutch pull by 50% is priced at $25, and claims easy installation. I'll appreciate all comments.

My left wrist was damaged many years ago and heavy clutch pull is uncomfortable. But since I said that I must say that my other two bikes are 03 Ducati Monster 1000 and a beautiful original condition 69 Triumph TR6R. Can't claim I'm not used to heavy clutch pull.

Shorty, I bid on one a month or so ago but afterwards realized that it wouldn't work without some machining/modification. It would've made it weaker. Numerous other Buell owners has said the same. There are other routes to go though.

Thanks, Odie for your reply. I thought since it's so often been complained about that the factory would have corrected it if it were that simple. I'll guess that it's a basic design problem and won't be helped much without a major redesign.

And my Duc has a hydraulic clutch and is almost a hard as the XB9. And my old Triumph is in a class by itself, but I still over her.

Shorty, try the Trojan Horse site. They have what is called a Muller Power Clutch. I've heard good things about them and supposed to be easy to install... Couldn't get a link to post...

There's a link to Trojan in the sponsor section.

I have an Xb9SL, and while sitting on quite a few XB12S & R's I have noticed, that the clutch pull seems to be a bit less. Could there be a solution to this through Buell? I wouldn't mind having a lighter pull required on my clutch too.

Eurocomponents makes a power clutch which I just installed on my M2. The difference is day and night. Clutch pull now feels like a Japanese bike. I would think they make one for the XB's
