I changed my plugs on my 05 xb12r to the dcpr9eix's and air filter to a K&N (the filter in her was from 05 and had holes in it!!! Now she starts up and idles great. He'll even rides great but the damn cel is staying on. When I first got the bike it would come on, go off. Come on, go off. Now it's just on consistently. I didn't gpa the plugs because I was always told by manufactures to never gap iridiums so shouldn't be that. Y'all have any ideas? I don't have a PC so I can't reset the tps or read the codes. |

I pulled the codes and got Intake air temp Interactive exhaust Battery voltage Fan voltage Any ideas where to start? Battery is good and tight. Has a standing charge of 12.5volts. Fan seems to operate fine (only came on once when I shut her down after sitting in traffic forever other than that not sure if she even comes on) the exhaust servo has the cable disconnected and I noticed doesn't ever move so maybe I should get an emulator for that? And I am going to change the intake temp sensor today with a ford rangers and see if it clears that code |

I would pop off the airbox lid and see if you dislodged anything under there. Also a good idea to check the grounding strap that lives under the lower airbox "floor". |

Ima check on that grounding strap. I had all the intake and everything torn off when replacing plugs and I know it all went back together correctly so ima have to dig a little deeper. With the old 100% dirty and just all around messed up filter the iat sensor was fine. Slap in the K&N and boom shot. Seems fishy to me |
