Raise back of bike and remove rear wheel, footpeg brackets come off, you need to unbolt top of shock so swingarm can lower as much as possible.Drain tank at the plug on pump but there will be some when you pull it. 4 allen bolts , uplug connector, take off fuel line and pump will come out. May have to pry side to side a bit, and it is a puzzle getting it out but it should come. The two o-rings are known to swell and may need replacing.

You will have to remove the swing arm bolt as well.... At least slide it out some so you can the swing arm to the side. Also put some paid terms tape on the swing arm to avoid scratching the swing arm.

Actual pump inside the assembly can be had at auto stores, same with high pressure filter. Input strainer needs to come from a Buell parts place.

Do you mean compared to the old one?
I think its pretty quiet compared to what was in there but that thing obviously had issues since i bought so I don't have a fair comparison
