Crud! On my way home from work. Nicest day in a long time. I see something skip up my way and hear a little pop. Well then the bike starts feeling real squishy so I pull over off the highway into a gas station. Slashed my rear tire purty good. Whatever it was. Messed up the rear fender a bit, I can see where it hit the inside of the swingarm. Nothing too serious. A little spooky. Now 62 in the sun feels like 200 waiting for the tow truck. |

Been there done that! Except I was waiting for Alex Prior, and he has better beer than a tow truck driver. |

I got a flat once on the rear from a nail and noticed it felt a little funny in the curves and was very surprised to see how flat it was when I stopped. |

Yep. From the noise I just thought it was a pebble. It took less than a minute for it to go completely. Maybe 45 seconds or so. Not a blowout. But it does blow. |

I was riding and picked up a nail one day. It felt like cross winds at first, then just a little Down the road to take a gentle turn at about 45 mph. That's the hardest I've ever turned the handle bars!! I tried to plug it and limp home, but the carcas was too thin, the plug wouldn't stay in. I made it to a friend's house and left some interesting tracks in his driveway |
