Grrrrrrrrrrrr.... Please bear with me while I continue to wallow in self-pity and stew in frustration. The City-X and (apparently) the 12Scg are showing up in dealers. To date however, I can't find a local dealer who can even give me a guestimate on when they expect to have any 12R or 12S models. Would you expect that if the other '05 models are shipping, Buell would at least be able to provide info to the dealers as to when the remainder of the models would be going out? And, what the color availability, etc. is? Shoulda' never gotten rid of my '04 12R. |

Darrell, the dealerships should know what they have allocated to them by now and what the projected delivery date is. If your specific dealerships do not then that mere fact alone should tell you more about those dealerships than what you might want to know. Go to one, talk directly to the Sales Manager for the dealership, and ask him/her if any are on order. If they/he/she can not go pull a sheet out of a drawer or look one up on a computer screen immediately then they may not be able to meet your needs as a customer. The weather is still decent up this way, gives Daves a call and do a fly-n-ride. When you get your new bike back home take it by those lacking dealerships to show them up close what the bike you wanted to buy looks like in person. |

<<<The weather is still decent up this way, gives Daves a call and do a fly-n-ride.>>> I've been considering that but at this point, I'm thinking that if I can't trust a local dealer to sell me one, I sure won't trust them to service it. I'll give a couple of more weeks. If I still can't get a straight answer from anyone down here, I'm throwing in the towel (and kicking myself for having gotten rid of my '04 12R in the first place).
