I am in need of replacement gaskets and the quotes that I am receiving are much higher than I remember them being (like $28.00 for one)!
Where is everyone purchasing their gaskets now-a-days? I am looking for a Transmission inspection gasket, a transmission drain plug gasket, and an oil drain plug gasket.

This leads to a larger issue, in general where are people purchasing their replacement parts for general wear and tear?

Both primary/transmission and engine oil drain plugs use the same o-ring. HD part number 11105.

Are you pulling the primary cover off or just the clutch and/or primary chain inspection covers off? The primary cover gasket is a big one and isn't too cheap. The factory Buell/HD gaskets are the best quality for most of the engine gaskets.

Info Update:

I am doing routine maintenance, changing the motor oil and the primary fluid. The gasket that I am looking for is the Transmission Inspection Cover Gasket. (part number 34819-03A, that is what the local HD dealer gave me at least).

As for the other part numbers, Ericz you say that both the transmission and motor oil drain plug o-rings are the same? I have two different part numbers (oil: 11105, and trans: 11067). Anyone clarify?

11067 is a retaining ring for the transmission. Both drain plugs and o-rings are exactly the same on all XB models.

Yup, the 34819-03A is the primary chain inspection cover gasket. Small two hole football-ish shaped gasket.

Have the gaskets been damaged? I've reused mine over 10 times now and still no leakage. As for drain plug o-rings, I picked up a whole pack of them from Home Depot (HD?) a long time ago. It's also the same o-ring that a Sportster uses on the transmission drain plug that any HD dealer will stock.

General wear and tear parts? My first stop is American Sport Bike. Good folks!

Plus 1 on reusing the primary case inspection cover gaskets, many times.

Of course you experience may vary...
