Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I'm trying to find out if KBC VR shields will fit the SparX S-07 helmet. I'm looking to replace my KBC VR Laguna helmet and wanted to know if the shields I have would fit on a SparX S-07 helmet. Both companies are "related" from what I can tell so I'm wonder if some parts cross over between the two helmets. Thanks for any help. (Message edited by 818guy on January 26, 2014) |

Trial and error would tell best. My guess is a NO or at least NOT EXACTLY. If the mounting/pivot points are in the same spot, The profile and curve of the front if the helmet could be different. Unless you can figure out if they use the same molds ... Could you find one of these helmets on a local store shelf or have a vendor order one for you to try on? Cyclegear is great about doing stuff like that. Otherwise, webbikeworld.com has good helmet reviews, with special notes to the internal profile is acknowledged and analyzed where many manufacturers don't |

Yeah, I wish I could see them in person but I think KBC and possibly SparX are phasing out of the US market. I would just buy another KBC VR but they are not making them anymore. I see more selection (eBay) of Sparx. I have not found any local stores that carry them or at least have one S-07 in stock to look at the mechanism. |
