Put A drummer on my 12R this past weekend. Nice mellow low babble at idle, sounds great while powering up through gears. My opinion is that it sounds like the bike SHOULD sound in stock form. Only downside, I got a comment that it sounds like the ol torker mufflers we put on our XL100's back in the day, now thats all I can think of when I fire it up.... but still much better than stock, and not at all too loud, IMHO |

I just installed a Drummer Loud on a friends 12s. We haven't had a chance to ride it yet, but it sounds great. Job well done. I need that fatty installed on my Drummer. |

Recently fitted a "half loud-arse" Drummer which has half the packing. It's about 15% louder than a stock one and sounds very similar. The idle is much meatier, and overall the bike seems to attract more attention. Still not too loud by any means, I really like it a lot (the sound and looks), and my bike riding friends who've heard it so far like it too. Nearly everyone except Buellers don't realize that it's not stock. I got a right-hand drive outlet for use in Oz.

Brian, It sounds GREAT! Deep and kinda hollow down low and raspy from the middle to high. I have heard nothing else that sounds like it. It's a head turner! Thanks Team Drummer

12s with race ecu and Drummer. Smooth as glass and strong everywhere. My friend has zero regrets launching that Force pipe. |

Fullpower - Thats the "Fatlet" that Kevin & I designed. The outlet hole ID the same as yours. There is another piece of stainless tubing welded around the original outlet and Kevin forms it over to look like a solid thick wall tube. Talented hillbilly ain't he....

It's hard to describe something like sound because whats loud to me might be a whisper to someone else. Also, this Drummer is installed on a 12 not a 9. I don't think it makes much of a difference but for some it may. With that said I'll give it a whirl. Its' not call the cops, break the church windows, make grand ma's ears bleed LOUD. Its' no where near as loud as the Force. Its' not as loud as the D&D. (IMO) I was sitting about 20 yards off the road while he made a couple of crankin it up passes. I think it sounds great. Two bikes make my head turn every time. A Duc with Termies' and a RC51 with Satos'. I gotta hear it a few more times, but a XB with a Drummer Loud might just be number three. The sound does draw attention... in a good way! I hope this helps guys. Sam |

Rode a friends 12R with a Drummer yesterday. LOVE the sound!! I did the airbox mod to his like I did to mine and he said that it is smoother and winds up faster. He rode my 12S yesterday and said the same thing. I asked about his when he got back from a test run and he said it runs like mine now. Happy, happy, joy, joy..... |
