What?!

The headlights are both round in shape ... Can you draw on a picture where you need the measurement taken?

the axle height will depend in tire size/pressure/weight of bike.

The swing arm pivot height from ground will depend on suspension and it's setting/weight of bike/tire
size/pressure

It might help if you clue us all in as to what you are needing these measurements for so we can get you the right numbers

If you are going through the trouble of building a mount for different headlights, I certainly wouldn't suggest using XB-R headlights in the project. I would suggest Hella 90mm high and low beams, around $60 each and these have known measurements for the mounting/adjuster points, as well as mounting plates that you can buy. Look at rallylights.com

I suggest this route because the stock lights simply suck.

These are the ones I was thinking about and several other people have used:
http://www.rallylights.com/all/lights/headlamps/he lla-90mm-classic-modular-headlamp-h9-halogen-dot-s ae.html
Notice they list low beam and high beam as separate part numbers. They should have the drawing for mounting on there too. And they also have flat mounting adapters that you can buy so all you need to do is screw the adapter to your vehicle and mount the lights.

I put a pair of these on my XB-9R and they are WONDERFUL
http://www.rallylights.com/all/lights/headlamps/90 bh-hella-bi-halogen-90mm-hi-lo-headlamp.html you can find a very long thread of my conversion in here with a search, spans three parts because of time.

I'd consider modding my car to take the Bi-Halogen lights, they are better than any car headlight I've had on my cars (including my brand new 2013 Chevy Spark which has pretty good lights).

If money were no object, they have a Bi-LED version now, but it is almost $800 each.

Nope, they are just regular halogen lamps, easy to wire.
