Ok, I'm doing fork seals on my '04 12s... I've found a ton of useful diy's on disassembly, how to change the seals, etc. But I'm having a hard time finding anything on exactly how to set the oil level/height. 118mm, I believe, but is that from the top of the bottom/inner tube? Or the top of the top/outer tube while fully compressed? Help please... I'm ready to get this thing back on the road!! |

Measure from the top of the top tube with the springs in and fork collapsed. |

Really? Everything I've read says to measure with the spring OUT, but nobody specifies where to measure from. |

Double checked the manual, and you are right about the springs being out when setting the oil height. |
