Hey ya'll, I just picked up my first Buell! It's a 2003 XB9r Firebolt with just 12,xxx miles on it! I gotta say this is the most fun bike I've ridden to date and couldn't be happier trading my 03 600rr for it. I received the parts list book and service manual with the bike, but did not get an Owners/User Manual. Does anyone have a link for a download or know a place to purchase one? As always, stay safe and keep riding.

Good find. Mine's an '07, so I'm not much help, but others may chime in with things to look for in such a early low-mile bike. The drive belt and wheel bearings were updated in later bikes and might need it for yours.

Needed the owners manual, which if anyone has one, I'd like a copy too. Since it is not available from Hardly on the web, a scanned PDF might be "legal".

Thank you for posting the service manual s0dhi. I'm looking for the owners manual like Greg_e said.

I'm willing to bet he has them reprinted from a cleaned up scan or somehow obtained a PDF version. In other words, I highly doubt this is a real original manual. And at $50 I know I won't be finding out.

Other than the maintenance record and the address change tear-out, the service manual has all you need in chapter one. It's certainly not worth (IMO) $50 unless you are a well-heeled collector. I paid $6 shipped in 2009, still in the shrink wrap from a fellow badwebber.

You can still get them brand spanking new at a dealer for $20.

Maybe. The part number (99475-03Y) seems good. Have you tried it?
