Hey, how are you guys doin. Just curious what is the maximum reliable horsepower that anyone has ever heard of from an xb12. |

Depends on how much you want to spend? If you punch the motor out, 131 RWHP and 119 TQ are possible |

my sentiments entirely Reliability is a very subjective subject. My idea of reliability is that the bike should last for a whole year without a major rebuild (even a race bike!). 130bhp would probably entail an engine life between rebuilds of significantly less than I would be happy with......and it I wanted 130bhp I would buy another bike anyway |

weak points are cases/pulling studs on big bores, and rod big ends. 2008 and up crank fixies the rod issue. The best I have done with a stock bore XB12 is 114rwhp (dynojet 200i). That motor has been together for 4 years, although it only has about 7 weekends on it in two seasons of racing. |

4500 miles on the rebuild, 0 issues so far. it is a 90 CI engine though |
