I picked up the parts and will be using them this spring (previously on the o.e.m rotor and pads). Just wondering what, if anything, others have experienced with these. That said... I've known plenty of good riders that haven't faded them. In the time since, some that tried Lyndall (like me) have since switched to EBC HH and a new rotor (EBR 6mm in my case) and mounting hardware (EBR) to resolve a pulsing problem. I was one of those that did not like the additional effort and too progressive feel of the Lyndall. EBC just felt "right" too me. Ended up putting them in the rear caliper as well. 2-3 years later and still very happy with the EBR rotor/EBC HH setup in front. Pulsing never came back. I think starting with a new (clean) rotor was key, to eliminate any deposits as a starting point for new trouble. Sucks to spend the money, but braking is kind of important to most of us!   Ourdee Posted on Monday, March 11, 2013 - 07:06 pm:        My new rotor came in today from EBR. It is the rotor on the 1190RS. Not that my rotor is on an 1190RS. Oh My Goodness! I thought it was another chunk of metal with straight cut edges. It is not. This puppy is a finned technological masterpiece. The attention to detail is simply astounding. I am amazed at what Erik has sold me. So far ahead that it makes my old rotor look like it belongs on a dump truck. The setup worked great for me. There are a couple advantages such as cooler temps and less weight but the thinner rotor is more susceptible to warping.
