My Step dad has an issue with his Firebolt XB9R starting sometimes, usually when hes off on a cruise he has to ride it without stopping as he worries it wont start up again when he stops off somewhere. Had a few comments about this happen to a lot of the new model buell's, and we replaced the started relays and still having the same issue. Could anyone share some light or some pointers please? |

Yea we need way more details relating to the issue to properly troubleshoot, it literally could be anything from simply having an old battery, to a defective stater motor. Does the issue only happen when hot? Strange noises? Does the clock/tripometer reset? I am going to move this to the XBoard, as this is not an 1125bike issue |

I've never heard of that being common to the new model buells, those XB9's in particular are probably the most reliable and drama free engine ever to roll out of an HD factory. |

The starters are all the same as the ones from sporsters too. No crazy rocket-science involved. As ALWAYS, check the grounds first. One loose cable can ruin your day. |
