Chainsaw, I took these pics earlier...Kinda hard to hit the brake & take pics by yourself Anyways you can see the difference between the tailight & the brake light quite easily. The new leds are great. I will wait till it gets dark & see how a couple others turn out. Tailight off Tailight on...its more noticeable if I was further back. brake light on

...what kind of rivers and streams are yall riding in... Riding in the rain does it. I wonder how deep this thing can go Wheel kicks up enough water to cause trouble. Fasteddieb used Blue RTV around his tail light lens, as I recall. I may hand cut a gasket! Thanks for the pics Dyna. I've tried no fewer than 3 brands of LED 1157's, and none have been as bright as a regular old bulb. I've done back-to-back-to-back comparisons in my unlit garage. The run and brake on the LED's are just plain dimmer. You have to be at just the right angle behind the bike to get the real bright effect from the LED's, and I just can't count on a cage approaching at just the right angle. I love LED's, and I keep one as a spare. I haven't found one bright enough yet. Getting a whole LED tail light assembly may be the answer, albeit an expensive one. |

I saw a bike last night with LED tail lights, and it looked like his brake was on, until he put on the brake. Damn near blinded me. |

None of the bulbs I have tried have any function other than run & brake lighting. |
