Hi all, So, I've just decided to buy my first Buell, an XB12Scg in All Black, 2009 model. I should have put a better subject heading, saying I've some questions, but can't edit it now (could a mod do this?) I have a couple of questions if anyone can help? 1: Any idea how many of these models were made in 2009? I've seen various references to the full production run and also the 2010 models (15 black?), but nothing specific to 2009. 2: Is there a PDF owners manual for said bike anywhere? The links above no longer work. 3: Is there a list of changes between the years? i.e. 2008, then changes to 2009, then changes to 2010? Thanks for any help. There were 5561 XB12scg built. Buell did changes over the years to these bikes from breaks, belt and others. Go in Ebay or Amazon and get The Buell shop manual and parts book for your year bike. Every thing you need to know are in those books. The first XB12scg I test road I dumped the clutch and wheelied through the intersection about a mile from the Harley dealer. I ended up buying a XB12S. |

1 - No numbers have been released for the 09s 2 - Kinda, I do have HTML copies of most of the owners manuals, I just need to go through the process of converting them for use on here. I did that with the 08 manual a while back but need to do the rest. 3 - Yes I will have to dig it up again, it was front paged for a while. |

if you take curves with any sort of aggression, i suggest getting the suspension setup for your weight first thing. these bikes are more sensitive to poor suspension setup than the usual bikes |
