My xb12ss has dome plastic factory bar ends that don't twist off. Applying leather strap and pipe wrench feels like they want to break. How to remove so I can put on better grips?

i just clamp on a vice grip, twist a bit then pull

Started to do that heard crunch noises..are they reusable?

If you're careful they are. It's probably the glue breaking, though I wouldn't bother trying to reuse them. Get some nice bar end sliders/weights instead.

Yep. They were junk. Put two quarters in new pro moto gel off road grips good to go! As good or better than the traction grips I had on my M2 as I remember.
