So i had a fuel light on. I bought the fuel level chingas and o-rings as well as a fuel filter and a fuel screen. I found the wire chafed on the fuel level wire and the others were starting. I split a small fuel line and zip tied it in the wire way. The fuel light is now off and she is running great. I pulled the fuel pump without removing the swing arm. I think i got all the bugs fixed. that was the last one. The whole job took me 2 hours by myself. Sorry the pic is blurry.

I had the bike ('07 XB12S) supported by the muffler, then unbolted the shock and may have removed it. That allowed the swingarm to pivot down far enough to pull the pump. It was tight, though. |

This was on a xb12r. I have a D&D exhaust that I put a jack under. I pulled the lower shock bolt out and raised the jack until the swing arm stopped. Then I wiggled and gently twisted until I found a combo that allowed the pump to come free. |
