I have an 08 Uly and put the Drummer SS from KD Fab (Kevin Drummer) and EBR race ECU and K&N intake on it about 1,000 miles ago. I thought I'd post some feedback on this set up.

It is AMAZING! And Kevin Drummer was absolutely GREAT to work with. I'm close enough to make a couple hundred mile trip and be able to get it installed in person. If you get the chance, go meet him in person and see all the cool Buells he's got in the shop.

I rode it with the stock module for maybe 300 miles or so till the EBR ECU came in. The Drummer works great with the stock module, but the EBR ECU *really* wakes it up.

Today, I took it in to the shop to have the fork oil changed since I really didn't want to deal with all that work, and at the end of the day the tech called me to say it is the strongest running XB he has ridden. I'm very happy with the set up. Thank you Kevin Drummer and thank you Erik Buell Racing!

Does a Drummer SS have packing that needs maintainence?

Do the dyno numbers on the website reflect wheel horsepower? Or are those corrected numbers?

Can you get the Drummer SS in black?

Gregoxb - I was actually going to recommend that you just try to contact Kevin directly through the Drummer website, but he obviously beat me to the punch. You'll find that he is very responsive, great to work with, and he produces an excellent product. It will be interesting to see the SS model in black. Please post pictures after you get it on. I've never heard of someone doing that before.

Been in Kevin's shop when he did the install on Twig's bike! Just plain cool all around!
