The forks and shock on my track bike are due for a refresh. I bought the bike towards the end of last season, knowing it was sprung a bit to heavy for me. I just decided to tune it as best I could as-is to finish out the season and do the rebuild over the winter. I would like to go with Race Tech springs and valve kit. Their listing only shows to 2004. 2005 is when Buell stepped up to the 43mm fork. Is the cartrtige/valve size still the same between the two? I called Race Tech to ask, but the guy on the phone wasn't sure. He and I bought thought 41mm and 43mm forks used the 20mm valve parts, but we weren't sure. Same for the rear shock- it's the same between years on the xb9r/12r, correct? Just checking compatibility before I buy the parts. |

I think I am just going to order the valve kits that Race Tech shows for the '04 and hope for the best. I spoke with them again yesterday and they said they would take the valve kits back if they didn't fit. |

American sport bike only lists 1 rear shock for XB's so you are pretty safe there. Make sure to let us know what the results are. |
