My XB track bike came with the EBR rear spring. I don't believe the rear had been revalved by the previous owner- just the spring swap. I am about 185-190lbs without gear. I am about 1/4 turn away from maximum rebound (slowing the rebound process). It still seems as though it wants to buck me off just a bit, although it's manageable. Reading the rear tire leads me to believe I still need a little more rebound adjustment. Should I swap back to a stock spring (progressive I think), have the shock revalved w/ the race spring, or have it sprung and valved for me?

Having both ends re-valved and sprung for your weight will make a huge difference in the bike's
performance and your confidence in it. just doing the rear will improve it, but both ends will
benefit since they work together albeit indirectly.
