Yet another info question for the air cooled dudes. Does anyone know if the diameter of the mounting base for the 1125 fuel pump is the same as the XB's? The fuel pump on the project bike will not be mounted in the frame so I will need to seal up the original location. Ideally an 1125 base would be best, but I am having trouble finding one at a reasonable price. I can either attempt to make one on my lathe or if the diameter is the same, modify an XB pump base. The XB pump base is cheap and easy to find. Even if some one can measure the diameter of the hole in an XB frame, that would help. Once again thanks for any help. |

I can measure the diameter from a xb fuel pump if you want!? But maybe you can ask Clarkjw http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 696198.html?1350414608 to measure for you because he has a bare 1125 frame laying in his yard |

Thanks Bib, I have two 1125 frames and an 1125 pump in the basement. If you could measure the diameter of the XB pump or XB frame that would be great. Thanks. |

I have only a xb pump ,no frame with the pump removed So the diameter is 80.75 mm (that's what goes into the frame) If you want more measurements ,no problem! (Message edited by Brother in buells on October 17, 2012) |

I measure 80.57 for the 1125 frame, so I suspect that they are indeed the same diameter. Now off to E-Bay for my cheap XB pump or pump base. Thanks for your help |
