I was wondering what this would do in the rain. I am thinking that if you were to bring the hoses back towards the rear of the airbox cover (or at least further back than the filter) that water wouldn't be an issue. I would then probably make two holes in the lower rear portion of the lower airbox with a couple hoses that run down to the inside of the rear sets (like the fuel vent does now). I understand that I'll likely not benefit from this setup much if at all (because I've already eliminated most of the upper airbox), but it looks REALLY cool if you ask me. |

Mostly, but I like the FX Buell setup because it creates the neat looking air intake at the bottom of the wind shield. |
