First Buell, I've had Harley's still have a 2005 Fatboy with 43,000 miles, and I do all my own work. The Buell had 4700 miles when purchased two weeks ago, now it has 5300 miles. The bike runs awesome from a cold start. Once it warms up, if I'm between 3k rpm and 4k rpm and open it up, it lags significantly, then takes off, as if it is having trouble getting fuel. As the fuel level decreases, especially when the gas light comes on, it runs awesome again. I've used the search function, and found numerous possibilities, I'm hoping someone can help narrow it down. Forgot to mention, I did a TPS reset and it the problem persists. Well could be a fuel pump but do you have a race ecm? Timing or fueling is all I can see being a problem there sorry |

No idea about the ecm, should I pull the pump? Does the fuel pump have a filter? But seriously, a bad fuel pump after 5k miles? Did the pump come from a cracker jack box |

What muffler does your bike have? Also, find out which ECM you have, it will say it on it. 4700 miles in 5 years tells me the bike hasn't been used much, it is very possible that old gas gunked up something, but I wouldn't jump to that conclusion yet. |

Race use only ecm/drummer exhaust. |
