That's twice in about 1 month and 3 hundred Km that the fuel pump fuse blew Anyone have this happen a lot, guess I should check the filter, what else any ideas? |

There was a bad batch of fuel pumps on some 09 XBs. On a hot day and being low on fuel, it may blow the fuse. Only fixes I am aware of are to replace the pump, or don't let it run down so much. |

Thanks Froggy I guess I'll keep it topped as much as possible and look for a rebuild kit. |

I was having the same problem. Burned fuses on hot days when the tank ran low. I've been keeping the tank topped off as frequently as possible and so far so good. Always have at least 2 spares under my seat at all times. I bought a replacement fuse pump, its chilling on the top shelf in my garage. I've already planned out a swap if it will be necessary. |
