Hi! I'm new to BadWeb, although my husband has been on here for a while (he doesn't talk much, but he's constantly doing research...) And I just thought I'd introduce myself! I just got my very first Buell today! I bought a 2009 XB12R from a very nice gentleman in Akron, OH. I'm actually currently on my way home with the hubby and my new shiny baby in the back of the truck  I haven't gotten to ride it yet, but I'm super excited to get it out of the truck and take it for a spin! (My hubs has a 2008 1125R and I've ridden it once, so I kinda know what to expect..) But even so, it's MINE and that's EPIC! Oh, and here's a picture of my new shiny baby!  | ||

When I was looking for the bike. I actually wanted the blue/white. Hence why I drove 20+ hours to get this one after looking for the past 3 months Thanks for the offer tho! | ||

For years I wanted Black with blue. In 2009 I got my white/blue and a few weeks later the 2010 models were released with black/blue color scheme. | ||

Congrats on the new bike! The blue and white go so well together on the R models. I just picked up my first Buell on Friday. Its a 2009 Ulysses XT. I have only had it a few days, but I don't think my Sportster is going to get out of the garage much anymore. | ||

You have just purchased(IN MY OPINION)The finest engineered motorcycle on the planet! I have been an owner of XBs since 2004, first a 2003 XB9S and as of 2005 an XB12S. Ridden since I was 12, now 44. RANT: Owned MANY Honda CBR and Yahama models, Very nice machines. A few Kawis, and one Suzuki(CRAP, FAST IN A STRAIGHT LINE BUT PURE HANDLING CRAP) with the occasional Ducati and Bultaco thrown in. RANT OVER! Anway, I have never had as much FUN riding as I've had with my Buells. And Some guys with small wieners call them Girls bikes, Well, If Girls have it right I guess I'll ride a Girls bike!! LOL Welcome the the fold(ADDICTION)!! Ride safe. EDIT: MINOT ND? My dad was born in Minot in 1940. Later moved to Bismark. My whole family is from ND, AWESOME!! I love my Buell. I'm still getting used to riding her, but when I ride her, I RIDE HER :P... Yeah we're military that's why we're here in ND. I grew up in Eastern MT, and my hubby's from TX. | ||
