Can someone tell me if a new 05 O2 sensor can fit a 2009 bike ? |

I don't know for sure, but since they're so simple a device, I'd bet they're the same. |

The bung for it is the same, odds are it's just a plain narrowband sensor with a single wire. The connector might be different, but it's easy enough to swap out. |

Part numbers are the same for all model year air cooled motors, old numbers have been superseded to the newest #, not sure if the helicon engines use the same O2 sensor. Looked into this a few months ago for my bikes poor condition |

Oem O2 sensors are shorter on 2008+ bike. On the American Sport Bike shop all sensors are the same for XBs |
