Author Message   Garyz28 Posted on Saturday, June 30, 2012 - 12:33 pm:        My question is how long are they good for? I put a set in my Uly at 10k miles and I am now at 37k. The reason I ask is because my engine has developed a bad off idle stumble and in cool weather it stutters under light throttle below 3k rpm. My Uly has an EBR race ECM and I have already tried a TPS reset.   Gunut75 Posted on Saturday, June 30, 2012 - 01:35 pm:        I put mine in at 12k, and am at 28k. Bad, or on their way to bad plugs would cause the symptoms you are talking about.   Buelldualsport Posted on Saturday, June 30, 2012 - 07:13 pm:        FWIT We have changed plugs when we change the oil, since we started with the Tubers in 99 and the way through the 07 Uly. Just our way of making certain the beast has fresh spark. YRMV   Garyz28 Posted on Sunday, July 08, 2012 - 12:40 pm:        I decided plugs were cheap so I went ahead and changed them. Imagine my surprise when I found my local dealership replaced my Buell iridiums with a set of standard Harley plugs, so I have no idea how many miles are actually on these plugs. Anyway I put in a set of NGK iridiums and my Uly once again runs like new.
