hello, I need help ! I just picked up a 2006 XB12R and the threaded rod that conects the rear brake pedal pulled out of the brake "body" and brake fuild poured out. can anyone tell me what i can do to repair it? the spring clip,rubber boot and everything else is still on the rod. I am not sure if i am missing anything because i am not sure what is suppost to be there normally. Thank you for any and all help |

Clean the parts with brake cleaner. Inspect the rubber parts for deform or damage. If the internals are ok. Lube them with brake fluid and shove them back inside, secure the circlip. Or, Replace the rear master cylinder (preferable.) |

Teeps, thanks for the help. I hate to ask stupid questions but other then the rubber boot what other rubber parts are there all i see is the rubber boot. do you know where i could get a diagram of the parts. |

ok i looked in my truck and i found a part with a spring on it and two rubber rings on a corkscrew style shaft. hopefully this and what is no the bike is all of it. and now have to figure if its spring up or down. |
