just some driving lamps from clearwater lights. didn't take too much creativity to get them in the stock assembly, the intensity is adjustable, which is amusing, and I'm pretty sure the next best thing to flicking the high beams on these things would be setting off tiny nukes. http://imgur.com/a/b1cEf |

OK, ya got me curious. I'm not going to pay that much for lights because I already spent too much already but how did you mount those? are the glendas or kristas? The setup really looks good to me and I have no doubt you can see well at night now. Nice job! |

10 large silicone wristbands from a craft store, after removing the stock bulbs and reflectors and most of whatever adhesive they used to seal it all up. they don't seem to put out too much heat, just warm to the touch after a couple of hours on the road, and the wristbands have held up to a few such trips now., and it let's me position each lamp independently. also keeps moisture out from between the lamps and the lenses on the stock assembly, but I'll keep checking on them to make sure they don't deteriorate on me. they're Kristas. they do make me much more comfortable on night rides, the stock lamps were pretty easy to over-ride. |
