This is the first one I did like this, I think it was winter of 2010-2011, either December or January. It's been hiding in the corner of my garage behind a bunch of other stuff. Lost the original downpipe off of it, so it's got a new one. The pipe was only used for testing and to see if I could make one. Black satin high temp powdercoat. It's ready to ship, $475 in the US. Gateway tuned one a while back, numbers should be similar to this. I've seen similar numbers on mine, 9 hp gain without tuning, etc. Just depends on where it starts out at.

Those little welded on tbs are there to keep the strap in one place? |

Since it's a 2 piece muffler, I want to make certain that it won't slide back any and make contact with the wheel. Probably overkill, but it's peace of mind for me. The 2 piece design allows for a little bit of flexibility and give for some movement if needed. The tabs sit just forward of the aluminum bracket. (Message edited by d_adams on June 11, 2012) |
