Author Message   Firstbikexb Posted on Monday, May 21, 2012 - 03:01 pm:        I installed an EBR race ecm and K&M air filter with a special ops exhaust, also put the right hand scoop (large) on it too. this is an 08 XB12 SS the bike runs well but the fan runs way more often than before. from what i have read in the past i would think the fan would run less? have over 450 hundred miles since the install. any thoughts, experiences, is this normal? Thanks.   Froggy Posted on Monday, May 21, 2012 - 04:00 pm:        The fan programming on the DDFI3 XB Race ECMs matches that of the 2010 XB stock ECM, it will run the fan more above 15mph, and it is less likely to run the fan below 15 or with the key off.
