I used to visit this forum years,before being a member a month ago and from the current traffic in the forums,it seems like it won't be around to long. Everyone must be selling their Buells off and buying other bikes. | ||

The Xboard and Tuber sections seem a bit slow lately, but the 1125R board and Uly are just as busy as they have ever been. Given that that Erik isn't producing bikes in the same volume as he was previously, there are less posts asking about the bikes, and also being that most of the issues that can occur have been well documented and fixed, there aren't as many people saying "Hey idfk whats going on, help!". That leaves most of the discussions these days being about modifications, and who has the best oil. With the new models coming out soon there will start to be a shift in focus, stay tuned  | ||

you may be right, Froggy....but i have to agree with him. i posted a thread about the world-record toilet speed record, and grumps was the only reply. just a few years ago, it would've been a 3-page pun-fest, with someone making plans for a turbo urinal. maybe i should've accused the toilet rider of being a liberal atheist with an anti-Christian agenda....... | ||

Well, things go slow through the forum, but I agree with Froggy, as many issues are not new. Here in Brazil we face the same feeling, but it is a natural accommodation. 'WE ARE BUELL', no matter the Buell has ended. Ed | ||

I doubt it, another board I'm a member on (read Japanese brand), some of the threads are still there from 2011, with the last post being MONTHS OLD. With the caliber of individuals here, even if EBR never came to fruition, this board would still be around. | ||

Lots of activity on that 'other' buell forum. I dare not say their name lest I be promoting. I like the look and format of this one a lot better myself. I look at this one as the more formal/professional of the two and have received a tremendous amount of help HERE. | ||

don't get me wrong, i love this place. i have done return business with a couple sponsors here, and i can't say that about any other site. the knowledge covered here is second to none, on almost any topic under the sun. i also appreciate the look of this place - "different in every sense" maybe if someone built a road-worthy shower, the two of them could ride to the remaining Occupy protests together, and do some REAL good | ||

I check the forum daily, I don't always post but do lurk. I have two buells, a tuber and xb so I sometimes post on the old school topic. | ||

I think that just the opposite would be the case. There are lots of Buells out there and as they age their systems will fail, and as these sys. fail people will be coming to this forum for help. Lots of owners have moved on to different bikes - but their bikes are still out there being ridden. ... | ||

It is interesting to see the difference between this forum and other forums that have vehicles in production. I just bought a new Mk6 GTI and joined the VWVortex forums, and every 3rd new thread is a "New Owner" thread or a "JonnyR32 Build Thread". Where here, we rarely ever see new owner threads, and half of the stuff posted is random news or old problems. | ||
