I'm looking at a 2007 STT. It appears to be in fair shape and has about 15k miles. I've never owned an XB. Is there anything that I should look at on the bike?
Thanks.

Oil leaks around the cylinders and/or rocker boxes. I bought a 07 stt last year; that's what I'm dealing with.

Mine has been pretty flawless. I do have to retighten all the grounds every now and then but other wise I love the bike.

That's a great bike, and '07 is supposed to be a great year for Buell's. Out of curiosity, what city are you looking at it in? I traded my '07 STT into a Seattle dealership last month, with similar mileage...

Great bike. Equally comfortable on the race track or logging roads, it was it's track capabilities that turned me on to the thing, but I'm digging mine for general purpose riding.

I had my fuel pump out and found a nick in one of the wires, they run through a channel in the pump. So I wrapped a piece of clear fuel line around the wires to protect them from new chafing and pushed them back into the channel. Pump is quieter since I rebuilt it.

Here's another for sale and I could do with a road trip depending on your price range, nudge nudge:

Erwin8r, I'm in the great, flat midwest, so I'm guessing that it's not the same bike.

Littlebuggles, Nice looking STT with low mileage. Since I need to get rid of my Triumph Trophy 900 to buy a new bike, I'm afraid that I'll have to pass on it. If I hit the lottery, I'll contact you.

Thanks for all the help. I'm still on the fence, but I have not ridden an STT yet. I guess I need to get motivated.

I have an '07 STT and love it. It's a fun bike to ride long distances and it's fun on logging roads too. Note that the STT has different steering geometry than the regular XB12S... not sure that I can comment on the difference since I've never ridden the 12S.
