Yeah I'm totally aware of that. But my above ramble about the wrap is one reason I picked this location and another reason is that i didn't want to guess on placement with the header off the bike. I do have a race ecm when i get an exhaust I might tune the stock ecm if the a/f is way off. Im not doing any motor work other than a "stage one" so I'm not really that worried about the o2 being down the pipe little farther. Now if i were building a motor at work you better believe ill have the o2 as close to the heads as possible when I'm tuning it. |

Should still be plenty hot, especially if it is wrapped. I don't think time is an issue. |

Here is my handy work with a dremel, bench grinder and a little sand paper to smooth the edges. Nobody will even know I cut it. |
