My neighbor came over to my house today. Her husband had passed and she is going through his things. He had a brand new motorcycle lift, still in the box. She knows I ride and asked me if I would like it. Didn't even want any money for it!!!!! So no I have a lift which works out great since I have a lot planed to do this winter on my 9R. Now for the question. I have the race can on my bike, am I ok to lift on the can or do I need to make a wooden bracket to go around the can? Any help would be appreciated. Thxs

This is how I do it...not sure what kind it is but even a regular jack might work with a piece of plywood...just need to stabilize it. I use the wooden pieces just to minimize pressure spots on the can...this one is stock but the Race Can has the same jacking points.
