So my question is when switch over from r to s was there any difference in seat height? I am really wanting to do the switch but if it makes the bike taller I might be out of the equation. |

actually the lightning low suspension and/or tail section with seat is how most people lower their firebolts. regular lightning tail section and seat would be basically the same height. lightning tail section and then a low seat would drop seat height about 1 1/2" |

Thanks a lot No Rice for the information. i think i am going to go for it and just try and locate a low seat. by the way all of this is going on an 1125r. |

you may want to go over to the 1125 section then... an s tail on an 1125 has been done, but if i remember correctly it wasnt an exact bolt on. some minor changes are needed. |

He did post it on the 1125board but never got an answer he wanted, probably because only like 2 or 3 people have done the swap. |
