Kevin, I hope I gave you some useful info. Good idea Greg. Wish I had fabricating skills, that single sided swingarm that Xopti is working on is sweet. |

Oh man , I already bought an XBSS long swing arm off fleabay ! Saw your post to late , rats . Now I just got to get the parts together for the long swing arm conversion - SS belt , Shock? , brake line? . Is a Uly shock the same as a XBSS shock ? Longer ? |

Uly shock will be longer due to the longer travel find a TT shock you'll raise your ride height an inch, Uly will get you even higher. Prolly best to source a SS shock for it. |

You can not use any factory shock with the "short" frame and a "long" swingarm. The shock length and/or the shock travel will cause major problems. You either have to lengthen the stock R/S shock, weld/mount a new shock mount on the "long" swingarm, or buy a custom length aftermarket shock that has the same travel as stock. There are lots of posts detailing the various ways people have done it. By no means can you just buy stock parts and bolt them up to make it work properly or safely. |

You MIGHT consider a ride-height-adjustable shock. It'll get you what you need without complex machined bits - AND it'll get you more suspension setting options. Aint cheap though. |
