I'd love to get my bike tuned, I know the factory tune is not necessarily the most efficient for speed or for gas mileage. I was wondering if there's anyone with the proper equipment and experience to do it here in the Indy area. |

I don't know if E B Racing still sells the ECMs that are specifically pre-tuned for your engine configuration but IF they still are offering, that may be the way to go - unless you are willing to spend the time to work on your own tuning with ECMSpy and a data logging system. The truly nice thing about the pre-tuned ECMs is that it's as close to a plug-and-play as you can get - BUT if you start changing stuff, that means you have to start over again. Equipment is easy to find at any moto-tuning shop with an eddy current dyno. The experience won't exist unless they have worked with ECMSpy or the Buell programmable system (about $700+) |

I'm in the same boat. I've got the cable, but haven't been able to muster up the courage to dive into the tuning without someone experienced around. Maybe we could organize group meeting? Rocky |

I've started to dive into this. Hoping to get better at it and learn more. Rocky, shoot me a message here and I'll give you my number, lots of us in Indy on Buells now. |
