185 lbs, 6' and ridin' a 03 XB9S. Figuring out that Mr. Buell doesn't like you to move around on the seat. Does the Corbin offer more room to scoot back on? |

5'10" XB9S 2003 5'2" riding buddy (girl) finds its good for her. She rides a Bandit 1200 herself. She has been known to mount a Paris-Dakar Beemer on occasion too. So maybe she is an anomaly. Seeing her on the Beemer stop at lights and put one leg down with the other crooked over the seat has to be seen, and then sliding back on when she takes off. |

I like my Corbin seat. I find that Im not cramped up and its pretty easy to do the twisty stuff. At the track I use my stock seat, which lowers me down a bit. That can get a bit crampy, but its mainly that I need to do squats more to get my legs in shape for all the shifting I do in the saddle at the track |

Kim.. Just noticed something.. My wife is 5ft tall as well.. But she can't fit on an XBSL. Her inseam is only 24in. What about your wife? Or is there some secret? Just curious, I'm sure my lady would love a chance to ride a 9SL.. Later, |

That has got to look crazy, someone over 6' on an XB. Kinda like a gorilla f__kin a football. Thats one of the main reasons I bought the XB, cause it fits me perfectly. 5'7" 170lbs |

elephant f'ing a peanut sounds more like it. tho i have a tl1000r, so i feel like a midget on a fat lady. no offense to midgets or fat ladies i hope, just a figure of speech. but the buell fits just right for me, so you tall SOB's shouldn't eat your wheaties so much!! |

Damn Kim.. I guess that's the secret (longer legs).. oh and Jason, I'm six foot and ride an XB9R.. I don't think it's that bad.. although a lot of folks think I'm on a 'tiny' bike.. Of course, my 'sphere of prosperity' doesn't help the image either.. Later, |

5'9 and 200lbs. Is it possible to knee down on these things?? I could on my GSXR but can't get close on the XB9R. Don't think I've ever seen a pic of anyone doing it. |

Knee, yes. Peg I'm not so sure about - and even if it is I'm too chicken! One of my favorite pictures of the XB9R is of a racer dragging his knee AND elbow, but the peg is still two inches off the ground! |
