I had an 06 xb12s that the harley dealer managed to ruine the threads on the crankshaft during sprocket change. I had allot of conflict with them about it so I sold the bike. I now own a cbr 1000rr 08 that I have buildt to a streetfighter but I still miss the Buell. I bought the buell brand new at that store and after experienced that treatment I told myself never again shall I do any tradings with harley dealers, and now it is not possible to get a good example of a Buell anymore. Damn harley sucks ass!! | ||

"it is not possible to get a good example of a Buell anymore" So get a passport. Come to the US where there are plenty of Buells to be had. Crate it and ship it back to the Norwegian peninsula. And bring us some of that killer vodka while your at it! But seriously though, sorry the Buells are so scarce over there. Hope you can find one someday | ||

Richard, you can try the Netherlands! there are enough buells here!  or is it a lot of trouble to get a motorcycle road legal for norway? | ||

If you are genuinely serious about owning another Buell, I can be of help...At this moment, I am selling my like-new 2006 XB9SX done up as a Cherry Bomb - this is one option...Another option is buying one of the dozen brand-new, still-in-the-crates ´08 & ´09 Ulysses I have at my disposal...  I would assume that you would find the fact that both myself and the bikes can be found in Copenhagen, Denmark rather interesting, yes...??? Thanks for the offer Eric, if you have had a brand new xb12s in the box I had seriously considered it. But now I have invested allot of time and money on my cbr 1000RR to get it to a sreetfighter. Men tusen takk for tilbudet:-) | ||

Here in Brazil, everyone would like to have a model 09-10! In October 2009, many people talked about, that in the Buell factory in Manaus were many 09-10! But none of them even hit the stores here in Brazil even though there were those who wished! | ||

Mr Keys, quite a few of those bikes came from Brazil to New Zealand. My dealer took three, and another further south had 10 or more. They all seemed to have translucent airboxes. Lucky for us.  | ||

@Riclyd... Sorry, no Lightnings left but after the Ulys, I have 2 still-in-the-crate 1125R's left... @Mr Keys... It is funny that you should say that Brasilians would have new Buells because the Ulys and 1125's I represent originally come from Brasil (they have the funkiest serial numbers)...Last year, HD (Buell) Germany arranged to take nearly 300 Buells out of Brasil and split them up between the "heavy-hitters" of the German Buell(HD) dealerships, each getting somewhere between 20 and 50 bikes... You want one of them back now...??? @Geedee... Yes, most of ours were TL Hero Blue and Valencia Orange also, with only a few black & BO models mixed in... I have thought over putting EBR 1190 rims on my bike so I can atleast have their brakesystem. Just to remind me of the old Buell:P |
